We have gone to great lengths to make sure we keep your data extremely safe.

We have no possible way to link a fingerprint image to any specific identity. Also, when you upload a fingerprint image, there is no place for you, or anyone, to associate a name with said image.

We only temporarily store images in a secure platform which has state of the art cybersecurity that is regularly updated.

We also have designed our process so that there is no way to link a fingerprint to a person. While you might be purchasing an item, we do not have a way of linking the source of the fingerprint to the person's identity. Also, most people are not uploading their own fingerprints.

As an image moves through the Love Talla creation process (enhancing, engraving, etc.) it is only referenced by a number that you will see engraved on the back of your necklace. There is never a name associated with a fingerprint image as our team creates your customized item(s).

We do not and will not ever sell any customer information. Ever!

It has been around for a very long time amongst the bereaved demographic, but, it has not been widely marketed to the most sentimental people on earth! Moms!

Every piece we make is completely custom and has to be created just right for you. We will try our best to get every piece of jewelry to you in as short of a timeframe as possible but it could take up to 3 weeks.

We suggest that you measure your favorite necklaces that you currently have and use that as a reference. General size charts can be very inaccurate. We come in all shapes and sizes so your own necklaces are your best indicator of what will layer well especially if you are creating a fabulous neck mess with your fingerprint necklace.

It is really easy and we have clear, detailed instructions we send to you in 2 formats to make your life easier:

1. An upload link via the email provided at checkout and
2. An SMS with the upload link via the phone number you provided at checkout.

The focus and clarity of the image you provide is directly correlated to the quality of the engraving on your beautiful Love Talla piece. If you can zoom in on your picture and see the fingerprint, then we can create a beautiful piece of jewelry from it. If we find that the picture is not going to produce an engraving worthy of the special person it represents, we will contact you directly to discuss.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to use only Method 1 if you are creating necklaces from small childrens fingerprints (Age 15 and below) and/or if you have creating a combined fingerprint necklace.

Babies under the age of 6 months have very densely packed fingerprint patterns on those adorable, little fingers, which makes obtaining a clear fingerprint a bit difficult, but not impossible. Generally, we recommend waiting until they are 6 months and older to capture their fingerprint, but for those who believe they can achieve it then we suggest you try Method 1.

For toddlers, here are some tips and tricks that have worked for us: Try it during screen time when they are distracted. Try it during nap time when they are still. These are parent hacks that have worked wonderfully for our families.

For anyone over the age of toddlerhood, it is REALLY easy. The fingers are larger, and the fingerprints are less compact and chances are you can get them to hold still for 10 seconds.

What you will receive featured on your Love Talla fingerprint pendant is going to be the most beautiful part of the fingerprint of your special person and not the entire fingerprint. In order for the jewelry to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible, our designers will focus on the most intricate and interesting part of the fingerprint. Typically, that is the whorl, but we have seen some really beautiful patterns in the arches and the loops as well.

We really pride ourselves in our accuracy when it comes to your Love Talla fingerprint necklace design.

We have tried to use technology to make your life easier BUT if you prefer the old fashioned way we highly suggest Method 1 of using a pencil, paper, and tape. Please use whatever method gets the clearest fingerprint outcome but we do not suggest using an ink pad. Ink pads tend to smear the fingerprint.

There are a couple of ways to do this:

1. Most funeral homes keep fingerprint records on file for years and are more than happy to help you obtain them.
2. If your loved one had a Driver's License in Texas, we can help you obtan their fingerprint from the DPS. We have been successful finding fingerprints of loved ones all the way back to 2005. If this is the case, please reach out to us at: info@lovetalla.com and/or call/text: 512-269-1858.
3. If your loved one was in the Military, there will be a fingerprint record.
4. Old government documents might may also have fingerprints.
